We really need Colby back. Holland is on his way back too. Hope that works out better this time.

Yep. After what I saw yesterday, I am ready for somebody else to take the hill. I don't fault JD for getting A.J. and I appreciate what the guy did for us early in the year, but I have seen enough.

Perez wasn't so great today either.

Perez and his temper tantrum today ought to his backside in a permanent doghouse, or the next times he gives up a lead, he stays till the ninth inning regardless of the score.

Turned on the game last night and saw that Holland is back pitching. I was able to watch through 5 innings through which he gave up NO runs and watched him hit his first single! I noticed they lost 3-0 but not sure who gave up those runs. Can anyone fill me in on what happened?

6th: Votto RBI - Holland pitching

7th: Barnhart RBI - Jeffress pitching

8th: Votto sac fly - Bush pitching

Holland looked pretty sharp but I'm going to need a few more outings.

I loved watching Holland go up to bat and get his first major league hit. Loved Odor's reaction in the bullpen.

The proverbial slow, painful death.

I'll take Holland giving up 1 run in 6 innings any day. Usually the hitting can make up for at least one fun, usually more.

Rangers had several runners die in scoring position.

Yu Darvish just hit his first home run.

First Ranger pitcher home run since 1997.

That was Awesome. Saw it in the suite at the Alice Cooper concert last night. We couldn't believe it.

Big statement win for Hamels and the Rangers.

I was surprised to hear that was their first shut out at home this season.

WTF?

Texas Rangers relief pitcher Jeremy Jeffress has been jailed in Dallas County, according to booking records.

Darn, I heard that on the radio. Supposedly a DWI.

Well, after tonight's good outing by A.J., I don't know what to do with the guy. I do know that I am happy about it.

On a side note, I enjoy Chuck Morgan's efforts to curb the wave. Tonight on the big scoreboard (on Star Wars night) was Yoda telling the crowd that:

"The wave is the path to the dark side. Once you start down the wave's dark path, forever it will dominate your destiny."

It didn't work. They still did it.

Doing the wave while your pitcher is pitching is stupid.
