Hamels struggling but has pretty much stayed out of trouble only allowing the Angels two runs.

Scheppers actually got a few batters out. Not getting my hopes up too fast yet.

A come from behind win and a defensive gem from Beltre. Just another day at the office.

Now it's going all be almost all Cowboys all the time. Jerry getting a helicopter ride is the top story in this town when the Rangers are the top team in the AL. I understand, but it just gets old.

Sigh. Yes, it really does get old. Quickly.

There's no point in denying that the Cowboys drive the sports bus around here. That's just the reality.

In the meantime, enjoy the little victories - like seeing Sciosia thrown out.

Rangers on now with Colby pitching. In 2 innings, he's given up the long ball twice already. Thankfully for only 2 runs.

How about now?

I don't ever remember a team getting owned like the Rangers have done to the Astros the past couple of years. Wow.

I just saw a video of the guy who got dragged out of the stadium in Houston last night, cussing up a storm as several of Houston's finest carried him out. Needless to say, that drunken Astros fan has had enough of the Rangers.

How did Scheppers look?

The Rangers own Houston!

These games are fun to watch, but I don't think the Rangers can rely on the last inning heroics when they get to the playoffs.

I agree with that, it makes me nervous about getting anywhere in the playoffs.

But it is fun.

The playoffs are more than not going to be one or two run games. The team needs to know they can win the close ones.

How many playoff games did the 2015 champion Royals win in their final at-bat? It was more than a few.

Not a good weekend for Ranger pitching yet again. I'm a bit concerned that they have so much trouble against the A's.

Ranger have a winning record against the Angels at home, but just barely. They feast on our pitching from time to time.

Another come from behind victory last night. Perez may be the best pitcher they have right now.

Joe West and Mike Scioscia competed for biggest d-bag of the night.

Would Scioscia have protested for the ground rule double is Escobar had been safe at 3rd?

I can't believe he followed My Main Man Mitch halfway to the dugout so he could find an excuse to toss him (for the first time in Mitch's career). That was Bush League.
