I can't believe he followed My Main Man Mitch halfway to the dugout so he could find an excuse to toss him (for the first time in Mitch's career). That was Bush League.

But Elvis and Ian keep coming through with big hit after big hit, don't they?

I'm surprised he didn't challenge it.

Last Rangers-Angels game of the season today. Probably some more ejections.

Nick Martiinez was easily the star of last night's game. That game had disaster written all over it after Griffin couldn't get out of the second inning.

Is Nick Martinez a ninja or a jedi? The look on Scioscia's face is priceless.

That is priceless! I love it. And Martinez did save their butts last night.

Evan Grant tweets:

Scioscia on Spike Owen deal: "I was upset. I was pissed. He was the closest guy in an opposing uniform."

Astros play the A's this afternoon. If Astros lose, the Rangers will know at game time if they are playing for the division championship.

Is it just me, or does Sciosia appear pissed about 99% of the time? How long has he managed the Angels?

Scioscia ALWAYS looks like someone just told him his dog died.

He's been the Angels manager since 2000. But, yes, he seems perpetually p*ssed.

A's are stinking up the joint in Oakland. Probably not going to happen tonight.

Oh well, can't win them all. Guess they will clinch this weekend in Oakland.

No thanks to Holland once again. But the Rangers were in it up until to end. I can handle watching that.

Baseball's a funny game. They play that chippy game on Tuesday and then on Wednesday you would have thought it was a church league game.

The Angels TRIED their best to give them the game I think in the 8th innings with some very lousy defense. Too bad the Rangers couldn't take advantage of that.

Magic number is one. I would HOPE the Rangers would reach the magic number with their own win to celebrate properly instead of another team doing it for us by losing. Would have been even better if they'd reached it with a win at home like last year. Oh well, what really matters is getting to the playoffs and world series anyway.

Jeremy Jeffress has rejoined the team. He hasn't been activated yet, but that should happen in a day or two.
