They clinch the West tonight. It was really obvious to me that this is just one step, that they have bigger goals down the road. I like that mentality.

Glad to see that Hamels was a big part of it. His pitching wasn't stellar, but he got through it and actually looked better as the game went on.

In celebration the teachers at all 4 campuses down here get to wear jeans and a rangers shirt on Monday. Our superintendent is nuts for the rangers.

Yep they keep bringing Griffin out there and he keeps getting rung up. Wonder if he'll be on the playoff roster?

I'm going to the game tonight. I'll be the one panting for Hamels....

Went to the game last night. Nice win.. Wasn't sure the Rangers were going to pull that one out at the end. Thanks to Houston for releasing Gomez!!

Looks like it's going to be a four-man rotation: Hamels, Darvish, Lewis, Perez.

I don't know if they will take him out of the rotation. I'm surprised they are still sending him out there. I guess with Lewis and Holland still having problems, the Rangers have been considering all their options still.

Red Sox lost yesterday. Rangers closer to having home field advantage all the way through the World Series.

I know some people want revenge against the Blue Jays. I don't want to give them a chance to do it again. So let's go Orioles.

Besides, games in Toronto are played in the afternoon.
