Count me in the group that says, "Bring it, B******s!" Rangers have home-field advantage all the way through the World Series!

Someone who is obviously an Angels writer/fan wrote this about how lousy the Rangers were supposed to be this year. Hope they all enjoy watching from their couches. And the picture of Josh Hamilton is terrible.

2016 AL West division preview: The Texas Rangers will be just as bad (or worse!) than the Angels

Texas Rangers
Who?

One of those teams in the AL West who don't actually reside in the west. You know, baseball town. The former employer of nearly every horrible free agent acquisition in Arte's tenure, plus the residence of Arte's worst trade acquisition, Vernon Wells.

Were they even good last year?

Well, they won the AL West, eliminating our Halos from contention on the very last day of the season. They enjoyed bounce-back years from former free agent busts Shin-Soo Choo and Prince Fielder, along with breakout campaigns from stinky second baseman Rougned Odor and white bread first sacker Mitch Moreland. While they were just as mediocre as the Angels most of the year, they sold the farm for Cole Hamels to replace the injured Yu Darvish atop the rotation and went on a tear to overtake the kids in Houston for the division crown.

What'd they do this off-season?

Not much, really. They signed Ian Desmond to a bargain one year, $8MM deal, though it would be much more of a bargain if he was actually going to play the position he is good at. Rather, they signed the shortstop (thus sacrificing a first round pick) to fill their hole in left field. Of course, they wouldn't have that hole if the increasingly fragile Josh Hamilton were healthy enough to play.

Angel fans can suck it, but if Banny doesn't do something to tweak the bats and the pitching, the Rangers may be watching from their couches sooner than later.

LOL...if it wasn't busy season here and I could afford a ticket, I wouldn't have any problem taking off. Everyone here knows I'm a rangers fan.

Oriole vs Blue Jay game in 11th inning. The longer they play, the better for us I would think.

Blue Jay fan threw a beer from the stands when an Oriole outfielder was going to catch the ball. Nice.

Don't want to play the Blue Jays but the Blue Jays it is. Bunch of prima donna players and bad sport fans.

I'll miss having a Ranger game to listen to tonight while I work late. Isn't the 2nd wild card game being played tonight? Not really what I would look forward to but at least it's something.

Keep in mind that Joe West's crew has been assigned to this series. If there is going to be a first punch, it had better be a good one because there won't be a second.

Anybody that throws a punch is probably out for the playoffs.

We all know why we don't like Jose Bautista, but I think there is another reason that nobody ever mentions. It might even be subconscious. Although he is Dominican, he could very easily pass for Middle Eastern.

Maybe. But I just think it's because he's an A-hole.
