His apology was as bad as the original lie.
There is no way a man could be confused about whether he was downed by enemy fire or not.

In this case that is not the type of document that we're concerned with. Probably mostly training reports, fitness reports, OER's, etc. To an OER you would need to know who the preparer was, who the reviewer was, who the approver was. You would have to have the time frame correct. You would have to have the authentic signatures. You would have a real problem trying to get just 1 document right.

I just read that some of Williams' Katrina claims are being investigated.
He said he saw a dead body float by his hotel. The water around his hotel was below curb level.
He claims he contracted dysentery from the flood waters.
A public health director at the times says he did not see a single case of dysentery caused by the flood.

There is no way to defend the documents. They were written with MS Word. MS Word did not exist in 1972-1973. End of story.

Meanwhile, Fox New spews out lies and misinformation like a machine gun every single day. Especially about Syria, that Al-assad is "killing his own people". That the Russians military is fighting in eastern Ukraine. That Iran wants to "wipe Israel off of the map", etc, etc. etc.
