The story continues to slowly unfold. Univision still seems to be the only news organization that clearly understands the legal questions.
On the Florida license for her marriage to Trump she claimed no previous marriages. An immigration lawyer that used to work for the Trump business, however, let slip that she had gotten a green card based on marriage to a U. S. citizen in 2001, and after that he said that he had been unable to get any clarification from the Trumps.
In 2001 Trump and Melania had been going together for at least a couple of years and they were photographed together at the Oscars or some film gala in 2001. If the lawyer is right, this was at a time her immigration paperwork was being processed to get a green card based on her marriage to some other U. S. citizen. It is exceedingly unlikely she would have gotten a green card any other way, and it would be legally impossible for her to naturalize in 2006, as she did, if she had gained permanent residence based on her marriage to Trump in 2005.

Melania Trump said she had not been previously married when she wed Donald Trump in 2005, according to the couple's marriage license application. The document, requested by Univision News from Florida's Bureau of Vital Statistics, leaves open the question of how Trump's wife got her permanent residency in the United States.
The marriage license application contains a contradiction that may have been the result of a reading comprehension error. In box 32, Melania answered no to the question asking if she had ever been married. But in section 33A, which must only be filled in by those who have had previous marriages, she wrote that she had one.

Two questions:
1. Anything about Melania being a member of MS-13?
2. Did my name come up in any of these marriage discussions?

It's amazing that more partisan muckrakers still haven't picked up on this story that is staring them in the face. Remember, Trump promised at the time questions were first raised about how his wife obtained her permanent resident status that she would shortly give a press conference and explain it all. I'm still waiting.

Staying on topic.
Trumps wife broke the law and shouldn't be a citizen of this country.
Trump hates chain migrants...unless they are related by marriage
