What do you mean, "he was the one who attacked Trump's wife"? It was an anti-Trump PAC with no connection to Cruz that posted the picture of her. Even Trump admitted that he made a mistake.

Fact is Cruz got whipped.
And if he doesn't suck it up and get his shit together he will get whipped again in 2018.

Doesn't matter either way. When Trump attacked Cruz' wife, it was a fairly significant net negative for Trump.

Since "facts matter", Trump didn't "attack Cruz's wife". What he did was a tweet that he would "spill the beans" on her. Which he never did.
