This is why we can't have nice things

Earlier this week Sara Huckabee Sanders read a letter to Trump from a nine year old nicknamed "Pickle".

The press went nuts and the search was on, they were sure Pickle was a fake,(probably a Russian agent). The press and the internet found Pickle and he is a real 9 year old.

Our media has 2 days of free time to out a 9 year old little boy because he admires Trump.

Yet they have devoted only 37 seconds to Debbie's IT debacle.

Kind of makes you wonder.

I actually hadn't heard about this. This seems to be a pretty good run-down:

“In all of this Pickle letter stuff,” asked a Canadian sportswriter on Twitter, “has anyone pointed out that Dylan Pickles is literally the name of a fictional child from Rugrats?”

Did it ever occur to any of you media brain-surgeons that even small children can make the Dill(an)/Pickle connection?

O for goodness's sakes! I've looked at that note a number of times. I have no
idea what's in the minds of others who have read the note. But any truly fair
reader can be forgiven for thinking it seems unlikely.

A nine y/o saying, "... you are my favourite president ..." screams foul.
Many of us have taken many, many grains of salt after the gratuitous dissembling
committed by Sanders, Spicer, Conway and ddt himself. In other words; it's
not hard to doubt liars.

That being said, I deeply reject and condemn the outrageous extremes the
inexcusable behaviour of those who can primarily be described as graduate
assholes. I am ashamed of them. They blight the conversations that all of
us need to have.
