If you live in hilly/woodsy areas of California..you have to be ready for fires..at anytime..though less so in winter time.

and looking at the map the fires seem to be widely dispersed and separated . Also causing hospitals to be evacuated , a walmart or kmart , mcdonads and regular housing burnt . Seeing this on the tv .

Liberal get hit the worst. They of course, insist on blending in with nature..so nature treats them the same as the trees they like to hug.

These fires are usually worse than they should be because the left forbids the clearing of old (dead) growth from the forests. Is that the case this time?

Probably, there is a law in L.A. County..possibly statewide..in which you must clear brush within 200 feet of your home if you live in a hilly area...and KEEP it clear.

Of course most of the forest land in the west is owned by the federal govt. and it never clears dead wood unless it's near one of their structures.

just heard on FOX that 15 are dead and earlier i heard that 200 are missing and thats hard to believe but MAY be true .

thousands of homes destroyed . --- they still have no idea how the fires started . And actually , they probably don't have any idea .
