Former President George W. Bush should be back on his feet in no time.
Bush, 68, had his left knee partially replaced over the weekend, less than two months after having the same surgery on his right knee.
He was already heading home Monday morning after the outpatient surgery at Rush University Medical Center’s Midwest Orthopaedics in Chicago.
“He’s looking forward to getting back on his mountain bike in a few weeks,” his spokesman Freddy Ford said..
Long considered one of the county’s most physically fit presidents, Bush has undergone three surgeries in the past year — one for each knee and one after Dallas doctors found a blockage in one of his heart arteries and inserted a stent to ease it.
