Top 10 Acts of Kindness During WWII.
This is a great read.
It tells such stories as a German soldier writing a downed RAF airman's fiancee, after the war, telling her how bravely he had died and sending her the possessions he had found on him.
There's one about a little Japanese boy who smuggled food to an American POW and saved his life.
There's a German fighter pilot who escorted a severely damaged B-17 back to safety because he felt sympathy its crew.
It's worth taking the time to read it.
