I'm going to send you all a check for 10K, the only rule is you can't waste it on bills.

What will you do with it?

All funds not needed for general household expenses goes into the retirement account....we are still making up for paying for college degrees. We are playing catch up on home repairs/updating, also.

Years ago, I inherited $10,000 from my great-aunt when she passed away. It was a good year for our business and my mother was still working and was driving a very old unreliable car. After discussing it with hubby...I took that inheritance and bought my mom a car. It felt really good to have the money that I hadn't expected to have, then be able to give Mom something she really needed. She had helped us in past years when our kids were little and I didn't have cash for more than the bare essentials.

If we weren't still repaying the account we used for college expenses...I'd divide it between my kids and open a fund for future grandkids college.

It would be really fun to buy my hubby a new boat (or at least pay for 1/2 of one)....ours is 27 years old...still runs well but is looking a little worn. He really loves that boat!

I've invested most of the inheritance I got from my parents. If I was given 10K, I think I'd take my granddaughters to DISNEY WORLD!!!!

I'd thank you very much! I'm sitting here thinking of something to do with it. Can I get back to you later?

On second thought it would be almost two years of premium payments on the Life Partners Scam I was talked into , so I could use it for that.

Oh, I've thought of something I'd LOVE to do. I'd buy one of those "track" thingys that Bill O'Reilly is buying for injured warriors. I have a dear friend who was gravely injured in GRENADA from friendly fire. He lost both legs and doesn't have enough structure left to use prosthetic legs. He's the most well-rounded person I know. He's now learning to bowl from the wheel chair. No electric wheelchair for him....he knew that he needed to increase his upper body strength. But to hunt again, he needs to be out where there are no paths. He does fish. He is Airborne and never forgets it. He's made two jumps (tandem) with the Canadian Air Force. What a shame that the U.S. Army Airborne won't let him do it. I would love it if his old unit would let him.
