Do any of you still use tobacco?

It's 30 something years since I was a half a pack to a pack a day smoker. Its 23 + years since I stopped bumming a cigarette from a client every week or so.

I will take a chaw, cigar, or pipe maybe once or twice a month.

Not now. Not ever.

I will die from drinking too much coffee.

I stopped smoking 2 pk a day in 1986. I had a long commute into San Fran. The week I quit I went to work Monday with 5 in my pocket. Smoked them all before lunch. Tuesday 4. Smoked 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. Wed 3. 2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Thurs 2. 1 in the morning 1 in the afternoon. Fri I went to work with 1 in my pocket. When I got home I discovered that I had forgotten to smoke it.

Glad to hear about people quitting. If you still smoke, quit NOW rather than later. Lung cancer is not something you want.

And No I have never smoke but afraid my older daughter is trying it. Says it makes her look cool. Ugh.

I have never smoked cigarettes. I smoked 4 cigars when my kids were born.
I began smoking a pipe when I was 18. Still do, a lot.

Never have been a smoker. Did snuff once when I was 19, got sick, and that was the last tobacco I've had of any kind (I may have bogarted a cigar or two, though). Don't drink coffee, and have cut back a LOT on Dr Pepper.

I started smoking one night at a bar to impress a co-worker who was smoking. OK, it was a blatant attempt to pick her up. It didn't work. I got sick as a dog the next day.

Never again.

I didn't smoke. When I went out to clubs I did my best to steer clear of the smokers. Grew up with parents that smoked so never wanted to marry someone who smoked.

I quit almost 25 years ago. Up until a few years ago, I would occasionally dream about smoking. It's a wicked addiction. I haven't touched one since I quit because I'm afraid I would start up again and I don't know that I could quit again.
