We have a friend at church who achieved her citizenship earlier this year. It was a several year process and she said it cost her around $20,000.

What does Beto think we should do for the people now going through the citizenship process since they are taking the legal and expensive route? Give them citizenship and refund their money? They deserve being citizens, the Dreamers are illegal and should be handled accordingly.

Only they didn't choose to be illegal. They are here for no fault of their own in a county that let them come and stay for decades. And there are a lot of them. 3.6 million. The only difference between them and the rest of us is a technicality.
