He thinks he is so clever, called me this morning "We're taking the baby to the lake tomorrow, you gonna be home?"
Me "Your going to drive to Ray Roberts?"
Con man "Yes"
Me "Lake Worth is only 5 miles away"
Con Man "We like Ray Roberts"
Me "Yup we'll be home"
At noon he calls again "One of the doctors I work for is giving me a travel trailer"
Me "Great"
Con man "What size tires go on it?"
Me "How would I know?"
Con Man "Just thought you might"
Me "BYE"
Calls at 6:30 "Since we're going to be at the lake would you and Donna want to come out and have hot dogs?"
Me "The last thing I want to do is pay 15 bucks to get into the park whens its 100 degrees and eat a hot dog"
Con man "OK"
Me "I've known you for 47 years, why don't you just ask if I will cook supper for you and the kids tomorrow night?"
Con man "Great, my plan worked"
I love him,but sometimes he stills acts like he's 15, trying to trick the old man.
