The 2019 training camp for the Dallas Cowboys begins today, with a opening cerenomy Saturday, 7/27. Jerry Jones has given Jason Garrett his personal plans for the near future. Garrett's contract ends this year. Ezekiel Elliott, the last two years NFL leading rusher is missing and could be fined. Jones does not seen troubled by this. If Zeke is not there in the next week or so, it can change the future of his free agency by setting it back a season. He will show up in time they say.

I watched the very first game from the 40 yard line in thr Cotton Bowl and quite a few after that in my season ticket seat over many years. As I got older I started watching from home, no crowds to fight, re-plays were nice also. The past 10 years I usually have the game on TV, but I may be dozing on and off in my recliner. 8-8,8-8,8-8 seasons wore me out. Now I just hope for the best, and remember HOW ABOUT THEM COWBOYS.

I quit watching 3 years ago. Screw the NFL.

Hate to wish for a mediocre season, but if they have a playoff caliber team Garrett probably gets a new contract.

I have a standing offer to take a tour of training camp anytime I want. Would be interesting to see the inner workings of camp.

I don't even consider myself a casual Cowboys fan, anymore. I have never been a fan of GM Jerry, and I will never darken the door of JerryWorld.

Not a fan of Elliot, Prescott is overrated. Big fan of Anthony Brown, as he was a teammate and in same recruiting class as my son at Purdue. Big fan of Jason Witten, plays the game the right way, on and off the field.

He plays and acts the way the Cowboys mostly did in the 70's and early 80's with a few goof-offs. For the majority of starters, a bunch of first class guys. (The Landry effect? Maybe)

I heard the other day the Cowpoos are the most valuable team in the NFL. Worth about 5 billion!
