After a week of trying to be creative for our evening meal, from a spinach and ham crostata(hated it}, to baked chicken breast and muffin tin scalloped potato's(pretty dang good), to fajitas and refries.

Tonight it's what I like, hamburger steak and baked potato.

I will admit if it were just me, it would be hamburger steak, fried potato's, with about a quart of cream gravy.

I'll just pretend sour cream and butter is as good as gravy.

Sanger, did you do the au gratin potatoes in the muffin tins? They have been a big hit here. I'm now looking for bigger muffin tins so I can do 3 layers instead of just 2. I used cream, grated gruyere and a dab of butter on top. The original recipe I had, called for butter on the bottom. It was tough cleaning the muffin tins, so I put it on top and all was well.
