They have no savings. Most of the flyover country is living in ancient, decaying, infrastructure. To hell with both corrupt, incompetent, parties, lead by morons.

I can tell you that when National Guard troops are deployed domestically, they stay in hotels and eat in restaurants.

Multiply that cost per day times 25,000, and you can see that this show of force by the Democrats in Washington is very, very expensive.

They had 5 times more military guarding the inauguration than are stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I think those "in the know" about "internet chatter" decided that the threat was still active.
In the know = FBI, SS, and local police.

While it looked like "too much" to us/you/me, whatever it costs to keep our Congress and POTUS safe is worth it.
After January 6, no one wants to take chances.

The public was “kept out” because they knew no one would come. This bum didn’t attract anyone all year long to his big “rallies,” and everyone knows there are not any people that actually like him..

On Dan Bongino's show yesterday, he revealed that some of the contacts he still has in the Secret Service and the FBI told him that there was never a threat whatsoever. It was all complete bullshit. It was a show that served two purposes:

1. Show of force to let everybody know who is in charge
2. Continuation of the bullshit narrative that conservatives are violent and want to do violence.


I read an article this morning that they now want to keep 7000 Guard members in Washington until at least mid-March.
