With the recent death of Robin Williams be on the lookout for internet scams, especially on social media. You should expect to see "reports" of officer affidavits, the autopsy or even so called pictures or videos from the death scene.

Don't fall for it; don't ever click on the links. They're almost always bogus and will infect your computer.

Be smart and don't fall for it.
Thanks again for your continued support.

Sincerely,
Sheriff Bob Alford

Wise Eyes Changes

As you can see, we've made some changes to the Wise Eyes Alert process. This new service will allow us better management our alerts, updates and tips. It will also allow us to create content that attracts attention and encourages readers to share across their social networks.

We have selected Dr. Anna Goodloe, PhD as our new Training Coordinator and Wise Eyes editor. She will begin her new duties on August 18, 2014. Anna has been with the Sheriff's Office for four years. For the past ten years, she has been a college professor and in 2013 she earned her Doctorate degree.
