There are and were terrorist groups fighting Assad, but there are and were also legitimate "freedom fighters"..Syrians that want to be free..of Assad AND the crazies.

..and that is who the U.S. has "supported."

..and this from me who is glad Assad has prevailed. Tyrants are awful, but they're better than Islamists..and THEY would be the ones that won.

A lot of people lied to me and I didn't believe a word of it. I am the one that was telling you three years ago, that there was no armed rebellion in Syria that it was a war with terrorists that were being equipped and trained and sent in. Assad was just reelected with over 80% of the vote in an internationally supervised election.

No one sane believes that number.

But I just told you I am glad Assad is still in power.

I don't need to watch that, but I did hear he had a slight British accent.

That does not mean he's from the U.K.

People in that part of the world that speak English, learn English the way the British speak it..the same goes for all of Europe.

But, it's meaningless either way..they have lots and lots of Muslims in England, and all over Europe...you'd like it there.
