Reading the paper today it is painfully obvious that the FED's actions to hold interest rates at absurdly low rates has reinflated another giant real estate bubble. It may be even worse than the subprime bubble it created during the Bush administration. When it bursts and interest rates begin to rise housing prices will go through the floor. It's also encouraged the building of gigantic sized McMansions that are very expensive to heat and cool and well as maintain. The day will come when they will be torn down because nobody will buy them. You heard it here first.
