Wow what a story.

"Mr. Weisselberg testified under oath that he 'betrayed' the trust the company had placed in him and that he, at all times, acted 'solely' for his 'own personal gain' and out of his ‘own personal greed,’"

I see it as disturbing that a prosecutor can twist this into blaming the corp for one guy's admitted guilt. Then a jury agrees with the prosecution.

Would the same prosecutor blame Collins street bakery for the employee embezzling from them?
It's a joke son,I say a joke

You say that kind of stuff because you want the smallest sentence possible. To show you have remorse. And it apparently worked. He only got a measly 5 months.

That's just silly

He was testifying for the prosecution in order to get the corp charged

I'd be willing to bet lots of crypto

That the lead prosecutor leaned on this guy hard to implicate Trump

He got the golden ticket for his cooperation in targeting the corp.

If he would have had info on Trump he would have been granted immunity.
