Still walking around, looking like an idiot, wearing a mask, even an M-95? You need to listen to Dr. Bob. This is his show from last weekend. Click on Hr. 1, first item up.

Here's another hint. Go to 40 minutes into hour 1. Did you not take the COVID jabs? Blood banks are opening around the world that will buy your clean, unvaxxed blood. You could be in the money! :D

Just had the mask conversation yesterday with a contractor.

He relayed the mask after drywall scenario

If they won't stop mud dust

How are they going to stop a virus?

Here at the megalith gigantic UC Health hospital everyone has to wear a mask. The sign at the door says " Because we are in a health care setting, masks are required in all facilities, even if you’re vaccinated. Thank you for helping to keep our patients and staff safe." Now, what in hell is that suppose to mean? If it was about the science, it would have been the very 1st place to ditch the fu*king masks. It really, really pisses me off, but what can you do? If you have to go to the hospital or even see a doctor there they have you by the balls.

I agree that the masks are BS, but I assume it's CYA in action. Lawsuits are expensive, even if you win.

Anyone still wearing a mask is a total loser, and deserves to be shunned.

You might want to reconsider that statement.

After all the news of how the medical community mislead the public on covid info.

The observation was that if a mask can't arrest something as large as airborne dust particles

How could it stop a virus?

It was a common sense point.

Confusing it as medical advice seems absurd.

Oh additionally he is not a painter.

We just finished remodeling one of our bathrooms. After we put on the skim coat we sanded. We wore masks. Are you saying they don't help?

I can guarantee you that I'm not sanding any skim coat without a mask.

No mask can filter out something that doesn't exist. :D

That is exactly what I'm suggesting.

Also the correct method for clearing you nose and lungs after sanding drywall

Is to plunge your head into the toilet and breathe deeply.

Back in my younger days I never wore a mask on any type of construction project. Sometimes after a big sanding job I'd be blowing crap out of my nose for days. That doesn't happen when you wear a mask.

Thank you Capt. Obvious.

Of course the most ineffective mask keeps out about 95% of drywall dust.

You still get some dust through the mask.

The majority of masks stop 0% of virus spores.

I still think a head dunk will help.

So my doctor of 25 years and tens of thousands of other doctors who recommend masks, etc. are all full of shit, but your painting contractor has the answer?

Mayo Clinic-
Surgical masks-may block respiratory droplets. But, droplets dry out leaving the virus in the mask.
Cloth masks-"there is no information."
N95 masks-"the mask is designed to block 95% of micron sized particles. Viruses are a thousand times smaller."

Maybe this random guy has the answer to that. Later he saw how much power he could excerpt by changing his mind.

Burwell had asked for advice about wearing face masks while traveling. Fauci's reply is dated February 5, 2020

Fauci wrote: "Masks are really for infected people to prevent them from spreading infection to people who are not infected rather than protecting uninfected people from acquiring infection.

"The typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through material. It might, however, provide some slight benefit in keep out gross droplets if someone coughs or sneezes on you."

He added: "I do not recommend that you wear a mask, particularly since you are going to a very low risk location."

Very low odds that a painting contractor is a political hack.

Fairly high odds that a doctor IS.

Yes, that’s the world we live in.

I don't think its fair to blame it on the Doctors. They don't have control. The govt. does.

+1 The painting contractor is also unlikely to pump a healthy kid full of a dangerous steroid mix, before whacking of the child's junk with a razor.
