Yes. My mother's mind is working well this week....her health is not good but she's not in a drug induced stupor....today. Had to have a hard discussion about end of life care...my sister is wanting to empty Mom's bank accounts but I do not agree and will make sure Mom can stay in her home as long as she can. My grandson is healthy & growing & beginning to smile. My DIL is healing from the C section and I've gotten to spend a lot of time with them. My hubby's company is working hard....as opposed to hardly working. My car seemed to have transmission trouble, but the issue was solved with a flush of fluids. My daughter has been assigned higher aquity (sp?) assignments....(sicker babies) which shows her that the higher powers have confidence in her ability. Our bank accounts and credit card accounts have not been hacked as per this morning's check. All these things make my heart happy today. The state of The Union? I can't see any good news. Gotta go with the little things.

Yep, but I am going back out there Sunday evening. That was the deal I made with my client. It means a lot to me to be able to see the grandsons play football.

*No big health issue going on for either of us.
*Enjoyed our son and family for a week. It made me feel good that 30 friends/family came to visit him at an open house we held on his last day here.
*We live in a place that does not have bombs exploding around the city.

My good news has to be....my heart started again on it's own TWICE! I've been inundated with good wishes from family and friends. I'm feeling great and looking forward to being able to drive soon.

Yes, we go up to Burleson . They have great shrimp, salmon and tilapia. Produce is also very good.
