I hear it's warming up in Big D!

Here at the Fort we're sweating it out at 81 degrees at noon!
But, it could get up to 90 degrees later this afternoon!

1980 was the hottest I remember. 40 straight days over 100 and no rain. Some days were 110 - 119 in real temperature. So far, this is nothing compared to that.

I remember too. I landed in Dallas coming from Germany in Jun 80! My car wouldn't arrive for another month. We needed a vehicle to start house hunting. A friend loaned us a black VW beatle. With no A/C! That's what we drove the rest of the summer.
