Let’s get clean

I was gifted a small firearm today - in need of professional cleaning as it’s been stored in a synthetic case that’s leached gases making the mechanisms gummy. Ew.
Recommendations west of the Trinity?
Please & thank you!

Toes, if you don't find one locally, you might consider this guy. You will have to pay shipping. I'd call him first. He's in Johnstown, just outside Greeley, CO

First what did you get?
You can probably find a manual online to show you how to DIY.
A can of brake cleaner(it stinks, do it outside) from the auto parts will clean it up then a little gun oil will lube it.
I don't know of a gunsmith in FTW but a internet search will locate one for you.

I think if your not pretty familiar with guns and your going to be using it for personal protection, you should definitely have it cleaned and inspected by a gun expert. It's too important to take chances.

I recommend “Grimes Gunsmithing” in North Richland Hills. It might be a good idea to have them test fire it and generally look it over also.

Thank you!
And to all who suggested they check it out, I concur. I also need some range time with it as my LTC is up for renewal. I want to see if I can use the little guy to qualify since I’m right handed but left eye dominant. The kick of my 9mm throws me off the bullseye.
