Update on Syria

You may remember my friend, Lillie, who is an American married to a Syrian and lives in Latakia in Northern Syria. Her son, Steven, is a journalist, and a very good, award winning one. This is his latest column. You will find a lot of information on what is actually happening in Syria. The US has been occupying the oil rich lands in NE Syria for several years and stealing it's oil, leaving the region with only enough to generate electricity for an hour or two a day! You will not read anything at all about this in the US press.
