Oh, HELL no. What brought this on? I like Three Dog Night, but I absolutely despise this song. I'd rather listen to disco, country & bubblegum all day long than hear it. I burned a music mix CD of their songs, & this is not on it. I don't even like Hoyt Axton's original. An otherwise good album, Naturally, was spoiled by its inclusion. At least it was the last song on the side, so it was easy to skip. This was our Senior class song, despite an active campaign by several of us for "Mama Told Me Not To Come". But you know, the "In" crowd always gets its way. I preferred Randy Newman's original, although 3DN did a pretty good cover.

If we’re talkin’ Three Dog Night..I always loved the song “One.”
I always thought this one was a little silly..and the kind of song where whoever wrote it, was just writing things to fill space.

Hoyt Axton wrote it. Considering the other songs he wrote, you're probably right.

Kevin McCarthy said when he was a DJ people would call and ask for "Jeremiah Was a Bullfrog."
I kinda like it because it was one of only a handful of songs I could play on guitar and sound decent.
