They have delayed the snow until Sunday. predicting 6in in Fort Collins

Well, scratch that! It started about 6:30 and is coming down pretty good right now. 26 degrees. I don't believe I've seen it snow here before Halloween before.

It's just a few weeks early this year. The leaves have barely started to fall. There are a whole lot of huge trees in this town and it takes a couple months to get them hauled away.

Well, it did and most of the night. But, more in Denver, 6.5 in than here. By the way the Chiefs play the Broncos here at MileHi this afternoon. Denver at least has a chance because Taylor Swift won't be at the game.

Well, the bright sunshine is back so it won't last long. But, I think this was the 1st snow I've seen before Halloween.

I remember as a kid, having to trick or treat during snow storms & heavy cold rains a few times. May have been miserable, but damned if we were going to miss out on that. And home made stuff was the best. Candy bars we could get anytime.
