What's this have to do with infrastructure and jobs?

You may have heard that as of yesterday, it’s been decided that beginning in 2026 all cars sold in the United States will be equipped with a “kill switch,” whereby the car can be disabled remotely if it is determined that you are driving poorly.
Rep. Thomas Massie sought to defund this provision of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, a bill of over 1000 pages. His amendment was defeated.

It has absolutely nothing to do with jobs. It has everything to do with government control of citizens.
Anybody in congress that voted for this should be run out of office.

It's just another intrusion into your life by government.
Just like a federal judge ruled that it's fine that your cars infotainment system can store text messages, call logs, and emails sent via smartphone.
