Obama has the opportunity for another prisoner exhange

Postby Kiamichi » Fri Jun 06, 2014 12:41 am

Most members of this forum have probably heard about the U. S. Marine who has been in prison in Tijuana for several weeks now after being arrested at the crossing between California and Mexico with weapons in his vehicle, when he had no intention of entering Mexico. Greta's show on Fox has covered this case extensively:

Within the past few hours Border Patrol officers in Hudspeth County, immediately downstream from El Paso County, picked up a Mexican who had been shot in the leg and had fled across the river from Mexico. When searching out the area they found and arrested four Mexicans who had been chasing him on foot. It has not been publicly revealed (and I would not rule out a coverup attempt) but word from very good sources is that these armed subjects illegally on U. S. soil were Mexican federal policemen. If they are not held until the Marine in Tijuana is released Congress should hold the executive branch accountable.

Yes, they are. They got them back across the border before the media realized they were Mexican cops and that the shooting took place on U. S. soil, and without state authorities being allowed access to file charges. This may not be the last you hear of this, though.
