The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 Tuesday afternoon that Texas law enforcement officials have the legal authority to arrest, detain and deport illegal immigrants. The ruling, which is an injunction, allows Texas to enforce SB 4 -- a local law passed in the Lone Star State

My son in law is Hispanic. He was born here, his parents were born here, and his grandparents were born here. All productive American citizens. My grandson is half-Hispanic.
SB 4 would allow law enforcement to arrest them on “suspicion” of being in this country illegally.
In other words, SB4 is a big bag of bullshit.

If the above is true all they have to do is show their ID, problem solved.
If you had any hair it would be on fire.

What do you mean “if the above is true”?
I’m not Trump, I don’t make things up to suit my narrative.
But why should they be subject to that? Would you want to produce your ID anytime a cop wants to see one just because they want to see one?
By the way, grass doesn't grow on a busy street. At least it forced me to give up the ponytail.

No Rusty I don't want your relatives pulled over just because they are Hispanic.
However if anyone of them is in a large group of illegals and storming the border, yes I want them I.D'ed .
How do your relatives feel about the illegals? Do they want them our country unfettered?

I think, like most Texans, that they have mixed feelings. Obviously nobody wants extra criminals, we have enough home-grown criminals, but Texas has depended on immigrant labor for years.
What makes you think the authorities are going to restrict their actions to “large groups who are storming the border”?
