What does a carton of milk cost at the school?

..Just curious. I can't remember what that 1/2 pint costs. I know it was cheaper for the kids than for the teachers.

This came to mind because our son and DIL had to send $100 if they wanted milk included for child's snack time...and $200 if my grandson was to get milk twice daily. That comes to .52/day for milk for the kinder student. (190 days of instruction in that province)

Last year when child began preschool, they were shocked at the school fees and various things that came in notes--send $$ for this, now send $$ for that --We have all been there. They were prepared for the $100 request this year.

It was free when I was in elementary school. The daughter of the owner of the local dairy was in my class.
