He read from notes to make obvious points, paused for extended periods and sometimes closed his eyes for so long that some in the room wondered whether he had tuned out.

Johnson worried the president’s memory had slipped about the details of his own policy.

What I posted was that the Wall Street Journal thinks so. I didn't say whether I agreed or not.

I thought Biden already had dementia when he became president. That was why he very seldom spoke without reading what he was saying from a teleprompter. He's getting worse now. He doesn't seem to recognize what is going on around him and stares into space without any expression on his face a lot.
