I think we're on the eve of destruction

Things can't go on like this much longer with the govt. creating billions and billions of dollars out of thin air every year to finance useless wars. The founding fathers knew this would happen and so founded the country on the gold standard. It lasted until the Wilson administration when it was replaced by fiat money. That was the beginning of the age of almost constant wars. After that began a succession of wars WWI, II, Korea, Viet Nam, and now Ukraine and Israel. We're not fighting them, but we're paying for them. As long as Americans aren't dying in them, the public doesn't get too upset. They should.
While this could be considered a Democrat war, the Republicans don't promise any change if elected. So, we will continue to spend billion and billions of dollars a year on wars in Israel and Ukraine regardless. And, there is basically no hope of ending this madness until we reach total economic collapse. My guess is that it's coming up pretty soon now. Americans can no longer afford to buy a house to live in. Prices climb every day. Most people cannot afford to shop anywhere but Wal Mart. I was there yesterday. Had to drive around awhile just to find a place to park. It was packed. I needed office supplies. I previously went to Office Depot. There was just 1 other person in the store. I looked at the prices and walked out.
The elections coming up. Does 45 promise to end any of this? Is he even aware of it? I haven't heard him say that he is. So, how would electing him help anything?
