I had to check to make sure I wasn't on Threads. Man, some of those people are seriously deranged.

For the dipshits..

A high velocity AR round went through his ear.

There was probably some reconstructive or cosmetic surgery to do.

The injury Trump sustained during a July 13, 2024, assassination attempt wasn't caused by a bullet but by broken glass.

You goofy b*st*rd. The first link you posted is to a Snopes article that says the broken glass theory is false. To wit:

The assertion that glass, not a bullet, caused the injury is undercut by the fact that photographs show no damage to the teleprompters allegedly hit to produce the broken glass, by a New York Times photograph capturing a bullet passing by Trump's ear, and by the fact that Trump later stated, on Truth Social, that a bullet had, in fact, pierced his ear:

I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin.

Trump's description of his wound matches photographs of his ear after he was hit, prior to being removed from stage...

Because there is photographic evidence of a bullet striking Trump, and of the wound created by that bullet, early and imprecisely sourced claims that Trump's injuries stemmed from broken glass are False.

Tennis legend Martina Navratilova is among the camp that believes former President Donald Trump’s ear bandage after an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania over the weekend is excessive.

The severity of Trump’s injury after a would-be assassin tried to gun him down in Butler, Pa., at a rally Saturday has been questioned by some, including MSNBC host Ari Melber, who called the ear bandage he was spotted wearing in his first public appearance since the shooting a “spectacle.”

Navratilova responded to an X account’s post of a picture that showed Trump wearing the ear bandage with a caption that questions its necessity.

“A good friend of mine is the charge nurse (Level IV FNP) at a major trauma center in a huge city,” the post read. “She says there’s absolutely no need to dress an ear wound like this, unless half his ear was blown off. And even then, it wouldn’t look like this.”

Law enforcement officials have claimed to two different sources that former President Donald Trump was not grazed by a bullet but rather by glass shards.

The officials in question told both Newsmax's Alex Salvi and Axios' Juliegrace Brufke that Trump was hit by glass shards that may have erupted from the shattering of a teleprompter that was hit by gunfire.

Trump himself later said in a post to Truth Social that his ear was hit by a bullet.

Earlier on Saturday, law enforcement sources confirmed that the person suspected of firing a weapon at a Pennsylvania Trump rally had been killed, as had at least one person in the crowd.

Videos showed Trump grabbing his neck after apparent gunshots had been fired before Secret Service agents pulled him to the ground. They then took him away in an armored vehicle to a hospital where he was treated for injuries.

The identity of the shooting suspect has not yet been released.

The injury was so small that it did not require any surgery or even single stitch to close it!

I once was cutting vegetables and cut off the tip of my pinky finger, the ER doc didn't stitch it, said there was no reason.

The memo, from Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson, a staunch supporter who served as Trump’s White House physician, offers new details on the nature of the GOP nominee’s injuries and the treatment he received in the immediate aftermath of the attack.

It is the most thorough accounting to date of the former president’s condition since the night of the shooting, which also left one rally-goer dead and injured two others.

According to Jackson, Trump sustained a gunshot wound to the right ear that came “less than a quarter of an inch from entering his head, and struck the top of his right ear.”

The bullet track, he said, “produced a 2 cm wide wound that extended down to the cartilaginous surface of the ear. There was initially significant bleeding, followed by marked swelling of the entire upper ear.”

While the swelling has resolved and the wound “is beginning to granulate and heal properly,” he said Trump is still experiencing intermittent bleeding, requiring the dressing that was on display at last week’s Republican National Convention.

“Given the broad and blunt nature of the wound itself, no sutures were required,” Jackson wrote.

Nobody pulled President Trump down. He got down behind the ballistic shield on his own.
