WNBA and Olympian Diana Taurasi and Team USA Women’s Coach Cheryl Reeve used the Olympics to push Kamala Harris for president in an interview with USA Today.

Taurasi is interviewed on video wearing her Team USA uniform shirt and saying that “a lot of us” see themselves in Harris.

“More than anything, you know, for me, it’s policy,” Taurasi said of the most radically far-left candidate the Democrats have ever put up for the nomination, “What are you going to do for the people of America that need you?”

“And I think there’s, you know, a big portion of us that see a lot of us in her and what she wants to do with our country. And, you know, for me, that is, you know, one of the proudest and, you know, most amazing moments,” she continued.

“So, yeah, we’re going to back her and we’re going to do everything we can do to make sure she wins,” Taurasi said of Harris. “And, you know, we go forward in this country the right way.”

Two boxers who previously failed a gender eligibility test are set to take part in the women’s division at the Olympic Games in Paris.

Imane Khelif of Algeria and Lin Yu-ting of Taiwan were both disqualified from the 2023 World Championships in New Delhi, India, after tests revealed they both had XY chromosomes, and thus were not women.

The competition had been organized by the International Boxing Association (IBA), which formerly ran Olympic competitions as well. This changed prior to the games amid questions over governance at the IBA.

As a result, boxing will now be overseen by the International Olympic Committee’s Paris Boxing Unit (PBU) where eligibility requirements are more relaxed. Because of this, Khelif and Lin are permitted to take part in the female category despite previously failing a gender eligibility test.

The basketball coach is stating her opinion, not the position of the USA about Kamala so that is not the place for opinions.

This boxing match, now I know it will be hard to understand by some liberals, is just wrong.

Transgender males are not women, shocker I know.

Women should not have to face men in sporting events.

It may be the reason you don't see many transgender females clamoring to join in male dominated sports.

The boxers are women. It seems a bit unfair because they clearly have man-like characteristics, but they were both born with vaginas. I do think, though, that these "mannish" women just serve to highlight what a huge advantage men have when competing against women.
