Nobody has posted about the latest school shooting? You know, the one where the kid was investigated last year about making threats and then daddy (probably an NRA member) gives him an AR-15 for Christmas?

Law enforcement dropped the ball again.
Then when you find out just how dysfunctional that family was
Law enforcement knew all of the issues and did nothing.

Yes, but didn’t the father drop the ball as well?
Why would any rational person give a 14 year old kid an AR-15?
Regardless of any previous threats he made.
No 14 year old kid should have that kind of weapon. And unless someone needs to shoot feral hogs, there’s really no reason for anyone to have one, unless they’re compensating for lack of penis size.

Very dangerous people.
Unless you can provide evidence of this I’m calling you out as a bullshitter who makes stuff up to suit his purpose.

Yeah sure dad's to blame as well.
Knew you'd get around to the weapon, there doesn't need to be a reason.
I own a mini 14 completely kitted as paratrooper, do I need it? It doesn't matter.
I also have handguns.
I own a double 16Ga shotgun with a Damascus barrel.
Your fear of firearms is not the issue here.
The mental health of the person that owns it is the problem.
Oh and I bought my 42 year old grandson his first weapon on his 7th birthday.
Hasn't killed anyone yet.

There might not “need” to be a reason, but you have to ask yourself, “why do I want one?” What’s my purpose? Killing feral hogs fine. Defending yourself….uh no.
I don’t have a fear of firearms at all. I have a fear that anyone who can fog a mirror can have one. And I have a fear of parents with kids who have demonstrated the propensity to threaten violence who buy that same kid one. For Christmas!!!!! Well, merry Christmas and Happy birthday Jesus. By the way Steve, you didn’t say what kind of firearm you bought your grandson. If it was BB gun, more power to you. Otherwise……

I prefer to wait until the information has washed through the disinformation stage, but it appears that the mother called the school to warn them, about 30 minutes before the shooting. The shooter's aunt asked, "Why wasn't the school on lockdown?" Good question.

Just because you don't want something or can't imagine why anyone would want something, is like asking Why chose a Ford? I'm sure you own something others would ask why you bought that.

There you are in fear, you can't fathom why someone might do something. Hell the dad might think the kid is acting out because he wants something and if he gets it he might quit acting out. We don't know why, you don't think it was right and I don't think it was smart, but we weren't there. I don't think it's smart for parents to buy a kid a 800 hp car for their 16 birthday, but they do. Do we outlaw those cars? They can be just as deadly.
I said firearm, just for your information a BB gun is not a firearm
