Afterwards he was given a series of cognitive tests that were in the normal range for a gentleman of his age. Three or four years later around 1993 the beginnings of Alzheimer's disease was found.

His head injury in 1988 could have accelerated the onset of it, but there is no evidence he suffered from it while in office.

Yes, but when Howard Baker took over as Chief of Staff, he called bullsh*t on that. It was seven years later that Reagan was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. I think that the larger issue was that Reagan was shot and nearly died. It's tough for 70-year-old man to fully recover from that. In any case, Reagan was playing hardball with the Commies, kicking butts and taking names. There is really no comparison to Biden, who was a dumb*ss before he got dementia, and now he is just pitiful.
