Maybe he's in seclusion somewhere mourning the loss of the 10/7 mastermind.

But then, just about the time we give up..he’ll probably appear again.

It’s been over two weeks..not even a log in.

I’ll have no more to say about this, but if you’re a fan of Planosteve, you can hope he’ll recover from whatever has happened to him.

OK, here's the scoop!
My 1 week less than 1 year old Dell laptop suddenly stopped working. It was complicated. The place I bought it had just changed ownership and it was under a one year warranty. The shop guys couldn't fix it! Had to wait till the roving "expert" showed up. I didn't get it back till today. Hopefully, that is over for good now. I got a lot of catching up to do.
Meanwhile, the first signs of winter showed up with some very light flakes falling here at the Fort this morning. Damn! I'm not looking forward to winter. I don't remember if I mentioned that I have moved.

Welcome back, your kookliness.

Guess you don’t have a smart phone.

We decided to move me from my nice modern apt. into assisted living. Reason is partly because of food. I'm not a great cook and eating out can be difficult in the winter. The place I'm in provides 3 meals. Food is no so much cooked as it is bought already cooked and frozen then thawed out and heated up. Not ideal, but usually eatable. Price is lower than restaurant. Also, it is just a block from my brother's summer place.

Of course if you drive you can just go out to eat if you want. This is OK in the warmer time of year, but it's nice to stay in during the winter.
