Home Sweet Home!

Postby planosteve » Thu Oct 31, 2024 5:40 pm

This is where I'm hanging out these days in Fort Collins. This huge building has just been completely repainted on the outside in the last 2 weeks. It's a pretty old building about 50 years I think. The inside is very nice. Two rooms and 3 squares a day. Lots of activities. Busses provided, but I still drive. My brother and family live just a block from here so it's a good location. https://www.sunriseseniorliving.com/com ... od-estates

The food here is adequate but not exactly delicious. I think what they do is bring in food already cooked and heat it up. Not restaurant quality, but eatable if your hungry. And you can always go out to eat if you like and have transportation.

They go all out here for Halloween decoration. I guess they want us to remember our childhood.

Most of the crap you eat in chains like Chili's or Cracker Barrel is prepackaged stuff they pop into a microwave.

Looks pretty nice.
We live in a 55+ facility in Joshua, TX. About six years old. Nice amenities. WE like it.

One reason I'm here is that my brother lives just a block down the street. And his son and family live here in town. He hauled me around to some doctor's appointments this morning.
