Boy has her story changed!!!

Happy New Year 2025 from Latakia, Syria to you. We are all fine here. I want to say that every crime you are reading about committed by former Pres. Assad and his wife and his relatives are all true. We were not able to write about that before, but now we can. My own family here was targeted by the Assad regime in the past in their extortion raids, and my nephew was murdered by Assad in the evil prison Sednaya. If you are wondering if the various stories of prisons, illegal drug trade, extortion and stealing and selling of humanitarian aid are true, I can assure you they are all true. Once Assad and his wife Asma have left, now the story can be told in full without the fear of being tortured, crushed to death, or dissolved in a vat of acid at Sednaya.

I was passing on what she was saying. I usually assume what someone tells me is the truth unless I have reason to doubt it.

It sounds to me like the propaganda agent for the new regime has taken possession of the displaced regime's site.

The way I read it is they have a transitional govt. that will be replaced by a permanent govt.
""The Prime Minister of the Syrian Salvation Government, Mohammed Al-Bashir, was tasked on 9 December with forming the new Syrian government during the transitional period.[2] He was expected to hold the position until 1 March 2025.[12] The ministers of the Salvation Government were expected to shift to their corresponding roles in the transitional government"

Yeah, what possible reason could you have to doubt stories about how wonderful a "fairly elected" brutal dictator is?

Hind sight. I don't recall anyone here pointing out that he was a "brutal dictator" at the time.
