Since Elon has been finding huge waste in government spending.

The democrats have to make a stand to try and justify waste.

Their plan to address waste.

"What can we do to stop Elon Musk?"

The don't care about waste, they just want to cover it back up.

No it’s not.

It was entirely rhetorical.

Because it’s not. While we can debate the pros and cons of debt vs. deficit the fact is that Trump racked up about 8.5 trillion in new debt. Biden a little over 4.5 trillion. The deficit also was reduced under Biden.

Treasury Department data shows the gross federal debt rose by about $7.8 trillion on Trump’s watch. But that wasn’t the biggest increase of any president in raw dollars.

The record for the largest increase was set by President Barack Obama, with more than $9.5 trillion.

One caveat: Obama’s figure is larger than Trump’s partly because Obama served eight years, while Trump served four.

If you adjust the measurement for that reality by looking at debt accumulated per year in office, Trump does stand alone.

The founding fathers were well aware of this problem which is why the Constitution states that the only legal tender is to be gold and silver. We were in fine shape until we began violating the Constitution.

To say that Trump spent like a drunken soldier would not be correct. He doesn't drink.

That must be Democrat math. Debt was 29T when Trump left in 2021, It's 36T now. And most of Trump's deficit was due to the Covid shutdown.
