Peace, love, and democrats

Postby Sangersteve » Wed Mar 19, 2025 7:58 am

Setting things on fire seems to be the favorite way to express their position.

Trump and Elon are targets of the left and violence is the only cure.

Well violence and spreading lies via social media.

The democratic party doesn't condemn the violence.

Now with the rash of swatting conservative pundits, the violent democrat followers will get someone killed.

Still no democrat leader tells them to cool the crap.

But to be fair the dems don't have a leader.

They are rudderless in a stormy sea.

Democrats defend the lawbreakers
It's a joke son,I say a joke

In what universe is it ok to encourage and celebrate the destruction of someone else's property?

On Jimmy Kimmel's show they applauded his mention that Tesla stock was down. (Your IRA would like to have a word with you.)

I don’t want to see any stocks go down because when they do some poor retiree who has way too much in the market loses money. But anytime someone finds out the CEO of a company also turns out to be a screwball these things happen.

If these urban warriors are caught aren't they charged with a felony? Are they willing to risk their voting privileges over a temper tantrum?

I love how the Democrat mouthpieces on TV call firebombing vehicles and vehicle dealerships a first amendment issue.

No one loses money unless they sell. That could be an issue with required minimum distributions, though.
eta: However, if the retiree has been in the market for decades (as he should have been), it's still not a matter of losing money, it's a matter of reducing profit.

RMDs, coupled with the sequence of returns can be devastating to retirees. I saw it in 2002 and I saw it in 2008.

Retirees should have already limited their exposure to the stock market..to a point that a sudden downturn won’t cramp their style.

Of course there are people that screw that up. There are people of all ages that screw up their finances.

They should but their advisors aren’t telling them that.
