To Trump, Texas is nothing but mile after mile of cactus and cow shit. I can't recall he never once visited D/FW in the decades that I lived there. Trump thinks that anyone who lives in Texas has to be stupid or crazy or both. He offers nothing to Texas. He wants your votes and that's it. He offers nothing in return. And that is basically the same for the entire Midwest. It is nothing to him. It's just flyover country between the east and west coast. He has never been there and has zero intention of ever going.

I don't recall him being there before the election. And with a good portion of the military, especially Air Force, being located in Texas, he would at least stop occasionally to say "howdy".
