Yes, images can be shown in your posts. If the administrator has allowed attachments, you may be able to upload the image to the board.
How do I do dat?

Easy

First the post has to have 3 letters or numbers or signs Like >>> or ttt or %%%

Then go to attachments, below the Preview, submit buttons

Select attachments

Select where the image is on your computer

Desktop, folder , etc

There is a size limit

I just hit the space bar a few times and then Enter to start a new line.

My initial impression is that whoever wrote this procedure either didn't know what they were doing or didn't want anyone to post photos on it.
