I believe that we are at a very critical time right now. Trump was planning to use Musk as an argument that what he was doing made sense. Now, he has lost his only excuse, a "wise", "rational" advisor. Trump is very dangerous right now. His behavior is becoming more and more bazaar. Tesla buyers are not mostly liberal Currently, 30% of Tesla buyers identify themselves as Republicans, while 38% identify themselves as Democrats13. However, Tesla is gaining traction among conservative buyers, while it loses support among liberals
