I don't know anything about Dr. John Thompson, or what his qualifications are other than he's a Spanish professor in Montana. But I wonder where he got those figures? He may have just pulled them out of his ass. I'm sure he didn't interview all of the college professors in this country. I know 3 or 4 college professors and none of them are Communists.

Well, to be fair, I think he lumped all the Socialists, Anarcho-Syndicalists, and other assorted Leftist numbnuts in that figure, and his number is almost certainly affected by the department he is in. FWIW, it wasn't just an observation: he was using it to bolster his assertion that Leftist ideology is superior to Capitalism. He's my cousin.
