The message from the Chicken Little crowd has always been that we can control the weather with overbearing taxes and huge governments. In fact, it's the reason the global warming hysteria was invented.

If the "science" is so clear, then why have they been faking the evidence for the last several decades?

I think if your kid had died there in the dark in the middle of the night you might have a different outlook and more interest in solving the problem so that it could never happen again.

Because that is what the govt. does. Whether it is "massive" or not is a personal opinion.
